FAQ

Are your products new?

Yes, all of the products on our website are brand new and first quality. Our photography samples or imperfect items can only be found on ebay or etsy.

Why isn't my latex shiny like the picture?

Latex rubber is naturally matte, and needs to be polished with a latex shine or silicone lube to be shiny. Please read our complete latex care guide on our shop page.

How much does latex stretch?

This depends greatly on the thickness of the latex and the cut, however a safe stretch is typically 10-15%. So if you have a dress with a 30 inch waist, it can be expected to stretch to 33"-35". Some seamless items, like our sheath dress, can stretch even more than this. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding sizing.

How will my item be shipped? Is it private?

Most of our items are shipped via USPS Priority mail. Some small items, such as masks, can be shipped USPS First Class mail.
All items are shipped with delivery confirmation.
All orders are shipped in plain, USPS provided packaging. No indications of the contents will be displayed on the outer packaging. The return address will be listed as "SB Shipping" for your ensured privacy.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship overseas via USPS Priority Mail International. We ship worldwide, excluding Italy and France. We can only ship via USPS Express Mail with insurance to those two countries.

How long will my order take to ship?

All in stock orders ship within 2 business days. Domestic orders are typically received in 4-6 business days. International delivery times can vary greatly due to circumstances beyond our control, such as delays in customs. Please allow 1-6 weeks for international delivery.
If any portion of your order cannot be shipped within 2 business days, you will be notified via email. The shipment time on custom orders will vary, please inquire about delivery times prior to ordering.

Do you accept special orders?

Yes, we are happy to help you find exactly what you are looking for. We have access to thousands of items from a number of European and North American suppliers, and sometimes accept custom commissions from our private studio, depending on the current workload.

What size corset should I get?

As a basic rule, corsets should be ordered with a waist size from 2"-6" smaller than your own waist size. Waist size is measured at the smallest point, not where pants sit. Newcomers to corsetry or those with a muscular torso typically order corsets 2"-4" smaller than the natural waist, while clients with prior corset wearing experience or fleshy waists can often get a 4"-6" reduction. Please contact us if you are unsure of sizing, we are happy to help you choose the perfect size.

Can I model for you?

All potential models and photographers should submit requests through our Model Mayhem page or email us directly at info@scarletbliss.com.

Do you accept returns?

Due to the personal nature of our items, we cannot accept returns.
If you purchase an incorrect size in a non-intimate garment, the garment can be returned in brand new, unworn condition for an exchange.
